This course is desinged to improve verbal and written English language skills for non-native speakers.

Upon successful completion of the English as a Second Language program, the student will be able to:

Utilize the fundamentals of the English language at a basic, intermediate or advanced level. Understand and converse in English.
Understand the written English language and English spelling.
Understand the cultural and social tenets of American society.
Understand the interview process.
Be able to discuss skills and experiences.
Prepare for TOEFL examination.
Prepare for a job search.
