At the Beginner Level our students learn the basic concepts of Grammar as well as practical foundations of conversation. They work on their pronunciation, spelling and listening comprehension. They learn the essentials of job search strategies and basics of U.S. history and culture.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:

• Utilize the fundamentals of the English language at a basic level. Understand and converse in English.
• Understand the written English language and English spelling.
• Understand the cultural and social tenets of American society.
• Understand the interview process.
• Be able to discuss skills a nd experiences.
• Prepare for a job search.
