| The QA Engineering program is designed to prepare the adult student for a career in the rapidly growing field of Software Testing. Students will be introduced to basic conceptual insights into the complex world of Quality Assurance Engineering, to operating systems, programming languages and concepts of Relational Database. Students will be provided with in-depth coverage of the complete Test Process, which includes the following tests: Unit, Integration, Smoke, Business Function, User Interface, System, Performance, Stress and Regression tests. Students will be instructed on test level types, different testing environments, manual testing, automated test tools and bug trackin g. Additionally, students will learn how to use the SQA ROBOT and WIN RUNNER to record and execute scripts and to report the results. Finally, they will acquire skills in installation, maintainability, reliability and usability of test scripts and learn how to execute test cycles and update test scripts as needed. |
