This program is designed to prepare students for a career in computer programming. Upon successful completion of the course the student should obtain the following skills:

Design a relational database for a client/server system using entity - relationship model and normalization.
Formulate and test SQL queries, write PL/SQL procedures, functions and packages.
Create interactive web sites using HTML, JavaScript, and multimedia, XML, XSL, VB.NET and ASP.NET.
Utilize the aspects of Java language and OOP concepts, GUI in the traditional Client/Server environment, Database connectivity, I/O, Threading, Networking, Ser ialization, Server-side programming for Web applications, JDBC, Java Swing, Java Servlets, Java Applets, Java Server Pages, and JavaBeans to their advantage.
Write a resume, prepare for interviews, and conduct a professional job search.
