This program is designed to prepare students for a career in the rapidly growing field of Network Technologies. Students are taught from basic to advanced concepts in PC architecture, as well as hands-on assembly, configuration, and troubleshooting. The class also features deatil coverage of MS-DOS, Windows 98/98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems. During the course, students will learn to design, install, troubleshoot, and optimize a variety of computer netwroks. Students will learn Internet technologies including Cisco routers. The course provides knowledge and skills that are necessary to become a successful Network Administrator or Network Engineer with a wide range of responsibilities.
